A few weeks ago, my little brother was given a rubik’s cube by his friend, who didn’t know how to solve it. My brother, a very smart, eccentric sort of boy, promised his friend that he’d return it to him, completely solved. Later on that day, he was found behaving rather suspiciously, with a hammer and what appeared to be a destroyed toy. When asked to explain himself he said, “I’m solving the rubik’s cube!”
He’d taken the thing apart and intended to piece it back together, with all the colours in the right place of course
